Event Days

Last year was a FANTASTIC year for our event days, lets see if we can make this year even better! Everyone is welcome to attend any of the great events we have programmed for this year, if you feel you could help out on an event then please contact us by any method detailed on the ‘Contact us’ page to register as a volunteer.

MARCH

Sunday 27th – Rabbit Care day – We will be providing rabbit health checks ans vaccination available from 11:00AM to 5PM. these are by appointment so please contact us to book your rabbit in. This promises to be a great day out for all rabbit people with lots to see and do and plenty of rabbit information available. Pree book your appointment from 1st March.

APRIL

Sunday 10th – Spring Fair: Winter is finally over so why not celebrate the new season with us? We will have lots of games, stores and activities so there will be plenty to keep you entertained and as always, dogs are very welcome! gates open at 12noon.

MAY

Sunday 15th – Cat Care Day: It’s the feline’s turn now with lots of cat themed events and plenty of information to help your cat live a long and happy life. Further details will be added when we know exactly what will be going on during the day.

JUNE

Sunday 26th – Dog’s Day Out and All Trophy Dog Show: Every dog has his day and this is a day for all dogs! no matter the size or breed all our K9 friends are welcome to visit with their owners and enjoy a fantastic day out! Gates open at 12noon so get here early to register your place in the dog show. Entries £2.

JULY

Sunday 17th – Summer Fair: This is the big one! The one we have been waiting for all year! Loads of games, stuff to buy, animals to see and plenty of fun for all the family! gates open at 12 os don’t be late!

SEPTEMBER

Sunday 18th – Rabbit Care Day: Our second of the year, making sure your rabbit is a fit and healthy as it can possibly be! Please call in advance to book your slot with our health check teams. Gates open at 11:00! Pree book your appointment from 22nd August!

OCTOBER

Sunday 16th – Sponsored Walk: Time to dust off those old trainers and start gaining sponsors for our big fundraising event. All walkers/joggers are welcome to take part, even our four-legged friends can join in too! The walk starts off from the sanctuary and will take you on a mapped out course round Chorlton nature reserve. It’s a fantastic day out in an isolated bit of paradise in the middle of the city! Contact us for your sponsorship form, gates open at 10:30

NOVEMBER

sunday 6th – Bargain Second Hand Sale: The perfect place to pick up that perfect christmas present! One man’s junk is another man’s treasure and our second had sales are full to the rafters with forgotten treasure. Come and have a rummage and see what gems you can discover! Gates open at 12noon.

Saturday 26th – Christmas Fair: Held at St Matthews Church Hall in Stretford, this is our last event of the year with lots of fantastic seasonal gifts, toys and games to tempt you. And maybe, just maybe, if we are really lucky, we will have a visit from Father Christmas himself! Doors open at 11AM, don’t be late, you don’t want to miss a bargain!
